The flexible seating options will support my students in meeting kindergarten's high expectations. My students work individually, with partners, and in small groups during the school day. This project will allow students to move around the room in a more flexible manner. The variety of seating options will allow my students to stay focused throughout the day. Many of my kindergarten students have little or no experience in a school setting. These seats will help keep my students engaged and on task. Flexible seating such as wobble chairs, balance balls, knee mats and lap trays will also allow active students to get their "wiggles" out while working without disturbing other learners. I look forward to providing more flexibility in my classroom with this project. We can't wait for these fun and flexible seats for our classroom!
