My school is located in a small town in California. Many students that attend my school are children of migrant workers and often have English as their second language. Over 76% of our students qualify for free/reduced lunch. Though the financial struggle of the families at our schools, and the language difficulties that many face at time can impeded the learning process, I could not ask for a better group of students. From my first year of teaching to my current year, each and every student has left a mark on me and changed me for the better. Our students are kind, optimistic, and always there for comedic relief. The students at this school are unlike any other, they are incredible and everyday they teach me something new. I am truly lucky to be able to educate such amazing individuals.
