A teacher is one who makes herself progressively unnecessary. As a teacher of students with significant cognitive disabilities, my task is to work toward independence at whatever level they can achieve. I use a portion of my school day to teach functional, daily living skills. My dream is to be able to teach my students how to wash dishes by hand as well as with the use of this appliance. Any help would be appreciated by not only myself, but my students who inspire me every day.
