My students are my kids. They are my life and I would do anything for them. They are students who might not get the attention at home they deserve or have anyone home when they get home. This upcoming year I have one of the most important jobs, academic math coach to grade K-5. Meaning that I am in contact with all students and teachers for math instruction. I am tasked with making math lessons engaging and rigorous across the school. Although I have been teaching for 7 years, this is my first year at Pinewood Elementary! My school is in a low income area and resources are extremely limited. I put everything I have into making my students feel right at home when they walk in my door. This past year our school stayed a C school. I want to help grow our schools capacity by providing them will all they need.
