The Piper Kits will allow my students to learn the parts of a computer and the jobs that those parts play in making the computer work. The students will learn to build and program electronics with the Raspberry Pi edition of Minecraft. The PiperCode software on the Piper laptops will teach my students how to code in Google Blockly and Python. With the Piper laptops, my students will learn how to code through hands-on activities. By building and using the Piper laptops, my students will learn about coding by using the Raspberry Pi. The classes currently have three Piper laptops. Three more Piper kits will allow more students to learn about computers and coding.
