We strive to maintain a friendly, safe, upbeat environment in music class. Students from kindergarten to fifth grade are expected to sit in chairs (with a few wiggle breaks!) for portions of lessons and would love to spend part of a lesson sitting on a rug! Our high poverty school and the materials within have been well used and unfortunately funding doesn't allow for replacements for some items. The music classroom has a large linoleum tile floor and the playground is equipped with playsand...and we all know how that is!
