My students attend a school in a socioeconomically struggling area, and they have opted to aim high, and are in the challenging International Baccalaureate program (the freshmen are preparing to enter the program). They can earn college credits in high school, but the program is difficult and requires global thinking, access to great literature, and intense work. My kids and I are up for it!
