My students are a diverse group of learners. They are 4th grade students in a suburban/rural district. They are incredibly enthusiastic about anything hands-on and interactive. I created this 3-D fold-able lap-book to accompany the book The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. My students love to build and create new things, and see their hard work in the products they produce. I have students who read at all different reading levels. Through guided reading, this book allows me to help the struggling and striving kids achieve higher fluency and comprehension because they are so engaged. The upper level kids are able to extend their learning beyond the literal and make wonderful connections and interpretations of the incredible symbolism and imagery in this story.
