My students are high functioning and mostly on the autism spectrum. They range from 4-10 years old. (K-2). There are many co-morbid conditions with these children, (multiple disabilities) and most have an ADHD element along with autism. There has been a great deal of research supporting increased focus, when students are able to use these chairs, much less the occupational therapy benefits! http://mrsbrandon.weebly.com/
