iPads are a great way to incorporate the requirements of Reading, Math, and Writing while allowing my students to learn in a way that will enhance a wider range of understanding. I teach in a very low income school, 97% free and reduced lunch and many homeless families. My classroom is a community that is eager to learn, but very little technology to help support/connect them to the outside world with the resources many other classrooms/schools already have.
