Classroom manipulatives are an important part of early childhood. These are materials that reinforce learning in a hands-on manner that is engaging for the students. I have chosen a wide variety of classroom manipulatives that cover the subjects of phonics, phonemic awareness, math, and social skills among others. When using these manipulatives, students will be employing skills previously taught in class in order to reinforce and enrich their learning on a daily basis. Our current manipulatives are few in number, show extreme signs of wear, and are outdated. I can't wait to replenish and revive our classroom manipulatives and watch the students apply what they are learning.
