My students will benefit from this project by having an alternative to the traditional learning environment. They have learning differences and need to have seating that meets their needs. It is hard for them to regulate their sensory needs in the traditional seating options. These alternative seats will help them with their sensory needs while allowing them to continue learning new material. They can wiggle and stay engaged on completing their assignments at the same time. An added bonus is that they will be using a lot of their excess energy to stay balanced in the chair that they will be able to focus even better!
