My class is a classroom of diverse learners. I am a classroom teacher in a high need community. My classroom consists of English language learning students, special education students, and regular education students. Despite the disadvantages that my students face, our school has been celebrated for making adequate progress for the last several years. This attests to how hard working our students are! I am back with my favorite age group, 3rd graders. 3rd graders are young and eager to learn but mature enough to have independence, choices, and responsibility in their learning.
