A group in our school called the HOPE Squad has become experts in mindfulness: mindful breathing, mindful movement, and mindful rest. Now they're ready to share their expertise with all the other students in our school by visiting each classroom to lead mindfulness exercises. The only thing they're missing is a breathing ball (Hoberman Sphere) to make their lessons fun and engaging. Just breathe! Having the HOPE Squad kids lead the other students works for two reasons. One, teaching is often the best way to learn. And two, students love to learn from each other, so they will be more willing to participate.
