my students attend an amazing school with a lot of support. However, my students differ in many ways from our population at my school. My students come to me due to emontional and behavior needs. At such a young age my students really struggle on controlling their emotions and are sometimes still learning how to properly behave in a school setting. Most of my students, come from some hardship and may not have everything that their peers have. In my classroom we work on learning consequences from behavior. Along with those consequences comes rewards and praise for great behavior. This is what my classroom is all about!
