I teach in a severely cognitively impaired classroom, and I have the best students in the whole school! Currently I have five students, all but one of whom are nonverbal. My students attend a public school as part of a co-op program, meaning they come from different school districts in the area to my room. My students currently range in age from 10-23. Most of my students are in wheelchairs or have limited mobility. Most of my students are completely dependent on others for their daily needs and wants. My students have a lot of potential, but because they can't communicate directly they are unable to show it. This is an absolutely AMAZING class! We have a lot of fun and a lot of love:)
