The way reading is taught and presented in our classrooms is a huge success for so many of our students, but for a small minority it doesn't give them the skills they need to be good readers. These are the students that I teach. Some of these students are in the third and fourth grade and are still unable to read. I want to "catch them" and help them feel success instead of humiliation. I want to teach them to read. This is a research based program that will help me give them the tools and skills they need to succeed.
