My students have worked so hard throughout high school to prepare to go to college. They have pushed themselves academically by taking rigorous Advanced Placement courses and have done extensive college research. They will be applying to a minimum of 10 colleges in the fall. As first generation college students, my students don't have family to guide them through the process of applying or going to college. Through reading, writing, discussion, and reflection, this book will provide them with the tips and tricks they will need to successfully navigate their first year of college.
