By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Our project will also assist in student development of social emotional strategies as they learn to work cooperatively with one another. Students will be sitting within partners, small group and whole group instructional settings accessing a variety of learning modalities on a daily basis. This allows them to focus on direct instruction while working on cooperation skills. Social emotional learning is a key part of our classroom so the subdued earth tones in this particular rug will have a calming and soothing impact on our classroom.
