Have you ever had to sit still in a hard plastic chair for extended periods of time and still be able to focus and get your work done? As an adult, it can be uncomfortable, to say the least. For 3rd graders with increasing cases of ADHD, it is almost impossible. Many studies have been done showing that students who are allowed to choose where they sit, and with multiple seating options, are more focused and better able to learn and get their work done. By funding this project, you will help me purchase various seating options for my students including wobble stools, wiggle cushions, lap desks, and saucer chairs.
