Incorporating play into learned has been found to increase student engagement! The use of these activities will give my students the chance to explore on their own during centers. Kindergartners will build, create, arrange, stack, design, and manipulate these activities in a way that engages them and brings excitement to our classroom! The magnets, shapes, and word building activities will be put in our sensory table for students to work at their own pace. The ten frames will be used in whole group lessons for students to follow along in a hands-on approach. The CVC words will be used as a center, where students will work in partners to build and read words together. Thank you for considering this project and giving my students opportunities they wouldn't otherwise have!
