I work with 52 fifth graders in a public school who are developing a community learning garden. They are energetic, motivated learners, who want to educate their peers about healthy eating habits. Each one of the students brings their own personal garden experiences or lack of to the table as they work diligently together to help their school community. This has become a positive learning experience for each student involved.
