"Learning another language is not only learning different words for the same things, but learning another way to think about things" -Flora Lewis With these new resources students will be able to read successfully at their independent reading level and spark their interest to become great writers. Allowing my students to have the technologies to help them learn the english language allows them an opportunity to see different views of the same things. Headphones and Spanish language manipulatives will allow the students in my print rich writing classroom be able to write successfully and bridge the language barrier in the public education classroom. The best way to increase reading and writing ability is to practice, and the technology and manipulatives will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading, writings and vocabulary.
