We are a Title I school in Washington State with over five hundred students. We have a large number of students from the culture of poverty and at risk populations, along with a high transiency rate. Specifically, 74% of our population receives Free or Reduced-Rate lunch and are of diverse ethnic backgrounds. My students are very excited and eager to learn. I believe that all students deserve to have a well-informed teacher who develops lessons and environments that will enhance and have the greatest impact on their development. As an educator it is my responsibility to do what I can to stay current with best practices that provide effective instructional strategies to reach all learning styles in the best environment possible.
