All of my students have speech and language delays. Autism, Down’s Syndrome, Auditory Processing, and Articulation delays are just a sampling of the disabilities these students work to overcome. This iPad will support them in developing age appropriate speech and language skills through a variety of downloaded apps. For example, Proloquo2Go provides assistive communication through speech output, VowelViz teaches correct production of the /r/ sound, Kindergarten.com Apps support vocabulary development, and games like Angry Birds provide reinforcement for working hard in speech. My students want to be like their peers in every way! With your support of this project they can reach for the stars and fulfill their dreams!!
