MVMdoes not currently have an adopted reading curriculum. Teachers are required to piece lessons together from outside resources, relying on their personal experiences with teaching and instruction. By purchasing Primary Phonics early reading program, teachers will have a clear path to follow to ensure that every student in our school has access to the same learning materials. Because of the individualized nature of this program, we will be able to use this program to meet the needs of a variety of students throughout grade levels. Four year old students in our Primary class who are ready to learn reading skills, as well as first graders in our Lower Elementary class who are just entering into their sensitive reading period, will be able to use this resource.
