Kids need to have a wide variety of books to read and explore. When they are interested in a book or subject they are more likely to learn that reading is fun and enjoyable. Having a wide variety of books to choose from in my classroom library will help foster the love of reading. I want to put books in their hands that they can read and that are “just right.” Having a wide variety of books on different levels and topics will help accomplish this goal and get the kids excited about reading.
