Alternate seating is great for students with attention deficit disorder. Balance balls improve posture while allowing students to also wiggle and rock back and forth without disturbing others. I want to make the classroom as warm and comfy as possible while still catering to the needs of the students . I have used balance balls in the classroom before and have had great success because students are able to "wiggle" and move freely, however movement does not disturb the rest of the class. What a wonderful way to meet the needs of students who need some flexibility in the classroom. By using the balance balls, students will increase posture and stamina to focus because they will be able to move freely without disturbing others. With these chairs, students will have the opportunity to move their seats freely around the room and move their bodies, increasing focus.
