As a public charter school, we receive less funding per student than government operated public schools. As a result, our technology cannot be refreshed or supplemented very frequently. My students are eager to use computers or any electronic device available to extend their learning. When I have a working computer available, they diligently finish any paper-based assignments so that they can be the first to get computer time. These kids want to learn beyond the textbooks and four walls of the classroom.

About my class
