Our elementary school is located in the city of Atlanta. My students attend a Title I school where 98% qualify for our free lunch. My 1st graders come to school excited to learn anything and everything! For some this is their first experience in a learning environment. Very few parents have a secondary education beyond high school; and due to cultural differences, we are constantly encouraging parents to take a more active role in the educational goals for their children.
