I have a mixed ability classroom of fourth grade students, ranging from Special Ed students to English learners to GATE. We are a public school in Orange County. My class is predominantly made up of boys. They are an inquisitive bunch of kids looking to be engaged. My students thrive on the opportunity to get their hands on technology and their levels of excitement and engagement go up when they do, but unfortunately the access to technology is limited in my classroom and their computer lab time has to be split with various grade levels in the school.
