These alternative seats will give our class options for where they will learn best. Students who were once laying on the floor will be able to opt for a comfy seat instead. When you look into our classroom, I want you to see open space for students to spread out in. There will be a handful of desks, but also a larger variety of places to sit and get focused. I have asked for wobble stools not only for a more comfortable option, but also as a seating option for students who have a more difficult time sitting still. These stools allow students who need to fidget in order to focus, to be free to learn in their own, personal best way. By doing this students are encouraged to take their learning into their own hands and make smart decisions for themselves. I believe this project will make a difference in our classroom by creating options for my students. It will give them that room to learn and that choice to figure out what is going to work best for them. These seats will help differentiate for their different learning styles. By just providing more comfortable seating, I believe my students will be more ready to learn and improve their learning stamina throughout the day.
