I am an elementary special education teacher. My students are awesome, hard working, caring individuals. Many of them have ADHD or other attention difficulties. Our school is located in the inner city, and many of my students live in difficult home situations. Many families are living in poverty. Children are not afforded resources they need to learn and grow. Many families speak Spanish, and parent involvement is low.
