My students attend a public middle school in a low income area. They are enthusiastic and have a tremendous amount of potential. My students would benefit greatly from an opportunity to use an interactive notebook, especially the English language learners. Spanish is the primary language for approximately 50% of my students. These students are learning literacy skills alongside math skills and I hope to provide them with an opportunity to make connections that will help them grow in both of these areas.
