My school is a Title I funded school, and 73% of the students qualify for Free and Reduced lunch. The students are excited about learning and the use of technology gives them an alternative to traditional classroom instruction. Becoming proficient on a computer is a must in today's world, and the opportunity to use computers may not be available in the homes of my students. Having computers, one for each of four children instead of one computer for four children, would allow my students to spread their wings and fly no matter their ability, whether it be Special Education students or Gifted, or the range in between, all of whom I teach.
