We need headphones for each child so that the individualized instruction provided can be easily heard by each students. Currently, students without headphones need to turn the volume low so as not to disturb others or drown out another's assignment. These will also help them focus on their task, whether it is reading, answering questions or writing a story. Providing headphones for them would help focus and get the most out of each lesson. These students are bright and deserve the same opportunities as students with more resources! Public schools should always help level the playing field for them and give them the very best chance at a successful future.
