My Middle School is a Title-1, low income and funding for the arts is limited. Over the course of the school year I teach 2/3rds of the 6th grade, (200+) and 80 7th and 8th graders totaling 360 students in one year. My students are very creative and forward thinking and always pushing me to include tech into the curriculum. I love teaching lost arts and exposing them to things they would not normally get to experience. I am so excited to share creative project ideas with them and guide them to express their creative voices.
