I have the amazing honor of working with the high school students of Alee Academy Charter High School. Although we are small, we are mighty. "Alee" means "on the side of the ship that is sheltered against the wind." We provide a small instructional setting for all kinds of students who prefer Alee to a larger high school with a less personalized education. While we serve at-risk kids, and take in as many as we can, we also get students who have been bullied, misunderstood, misrepresented, and who have fallen through the cracks at other schools. We are a proud family of teachers who will do anything for our kids.
