My 1st grade students attend a Title 1 school in an urban district. More than three quarters of our student population receives free and reduced lunch. Due to economic diversity, many of the students do not have any connection to the use of technology except for when they are in our school. The new common core standards require the use of technology to target all our learners and the varied ability levels that we must reach each and every day.
