I teach a wonderful group of students in New York. We are a 12:1 class and the majority of the students have speech/language delays along with severe occupational delays. 9 out of 12 students receive OT during the week and come back to the class ecstatic that they were able to use an iPad to help them with assignments. It allows them to be productive and feel better about completing their work! Teaching in a public school does not allow for money to be spent on technology for our classrooms. We have one working laptop in our classroom with outdated software.
