I have a very energetic group of 23 second graders!! My students love to be around their friends discussing their passions in life. A few of these passions are the Thunder basketball team, sports, reading, and the computer game Minecraft. Unfortunately, the majority of my students have limited to no access to a computer with internet access to be able to participate in the conversation about Minecraft. In our classroom, there are only two computers for the students to use. My students love to get on the computer! However, with the limited amount of technology in the classroom, my students have limited amount of time to spend on them to gain the experience needed to succeed in the future. Our school is in an underprivileged neighborhood, full of diverse families, who want what's best for their children.
