As an intervention teacher, I use a specific reading program to address reading difficulties in students. I believe that students will be most successful when the program is used with fidelity. One component of the program is daily word building. These magnetic boards and color coded letters will reinforce what students have learned by providing them with hands on opportunities to build and manipulate words while learning the phonograms . In addition, the kit includes magnetic pieces that students can use for hands on practice with segmenting phonemes and syllables.
