Technology is the route of the future. Every student needs to have access to technology to better prepare themselves for their future where technology will be the number one tool for success. By providing them with a Chromebook in the classroom, students will master the tools necessary to acquire language skills and integrate technology seamlessly to equip themselves for the global economy of tomorrow. Using technology in the classroom to prepare their projects, research, and to learn the importance of technology in a World Language Classroom is a step to a better future. Technology is an important tool in every subject. In the case of Spanish, it allows students to readily access cultural and linguistic dimensions of language study. I also allows them to listen to authentic sounds of the language as well as practice their own verbal and writing skills. In a shrinking world, where mastering technology and world language skills provides key advantages, my students will be better prepared and more competitive to provide leadership in our society. The use of technology in the classroom will make their learning richer, and bring our classroom up to date in learning expectations
