I will be guiding my 1st and 2nd grade students in a small group setting with early engineering projects. Student teams will collaborate and explore different methods of construction that work and don't work. They will build bridges, houses, walls, gliding cars, pyramid catapults and geometric shapes, just to name a few. By being a part of this group, the students will gain experience in team planning, cooperation, self reflection of personal ideas, as well as practice elaborating on co-worker ideas. This will be a safe environment where all students will feel encouraged and accepted by others and fun will be had by all!

About my class
