I want to be the teacher that helps inspire my students to learn. I want to do what I can at school to help the parents out at home. Our school is located in the middle of the city and is considered low income. Students have limited or no technology at home and the only books that they do have to read is the one or two books they have checked out from the school library. Parents work 2 or more jobs and hardly have time to help with homework. The students don't get the reinforcement and practice they need at home to be successful in school. I want to be that extra reinforcement and would do everything I can to be an inspiration to each one of my students and let them know they can be successful.
