Teachers found themselves forced to evolve their methods during the 2020-2021 school year. I quickly realized videos HAD expectations to my students (and quality of sound tended to be the #1). Students inundate themselves with social media, videos, and receive immediate gratification consistently. If we are going to compete, we must create a sensational YouTube channel. The math teacher in me- went straight to the data. YouTube has over a monthly total of 2 billion users. Over 3/4 of internet users have an YouTube account. Besides Google, YouTube is where majority of us head when we need to know something. I am going to use the Wacom tablet and Blue Yeti microphone to create a legendary YouTube channel for my students. We will use this as a platform to remediate, review and learn NEW information through video. Help me provide my students with the safety of having my math videos in their back pocket.
