Unfortunately living in Illinois we spend much of the winter indoors. The school garden gives my students an opportunity to learn and move at the same time! Living in the Midwest, gardening and farming are all around us. We have a local farmers market where student's love to visit with their families to buy fresh fruits and vegetables.
