My students are AMAZING! They are fun, sweet and SMART! Our school is a Title I school, and at my particular school we are at 98% free or reduced lunch. This basically means that most of the students who attend this school are considered economically disadvantaged. Unfortunately this often means that the students come from homes that do not provide them with a literacy-rich environment. So to have so many of my students performing not just one grade level, but two or three grade levels above where they need to be, means they are fighting the odds and well, by my definition AMAZING.
