I am very excited about creating a 21st century classroom for my kindergarten students. One way that I plan to incorporate this into my classroom is with flexible seating. One goal I have as a teacher is to instill in my students how important it is to become problem solvers. Problem solvers now = problem solvers later. A student's motivation and high engagement is what I desire in my classroom. Simple in-class activities can boost performance. Studies show that children who participate in short bouts of physical activity in the classroom have more on-task behavior. I am very excited about incorporating flexible seating into my classroom.
