California is a diverse state reaching out to so many cultures and people. My public school is located in an older neighborhood in a lower income part of San Jose. We have limited resources and limited access for students to use in the home. I have the greatest, most loving middle school kids, who are begging to learn. They just struggle to learn and no one at home has time to help them. My students are struggling with learning disabilities that interfere with their ability to stay up on grade level work in the regular classroom. I support my students in their regular classes and by pulling them out to help them in my special education class. Thank you for taking the time to read about my amazing middle school students!
